Relaxing

Well that was a nice, relaxing week. Finished playing Okamiden, watched Hornblower, finally got a hold of IT to fix my account so I can get paid, sketched, tried out shading on my Macbook, and made an army of owls.

Eyes? Who needs eyes?

I used this week as an opportunity to try out digital art using my Macbook. If I do work overseas (which I won't find out until next year) then I will will be leaving behind my desktop. I soon discovered that I can't work on my lap so I will need a table/desk if I move.

Things were much easier once I migrated to the dining room table but it still took a while to get comfortable. I still feel uneasy about it and I don't trust how the colours look. I'll just have to wait and see how these look when I get back home.





Now my mum is back home and we're doing a stock-take and getting ready for the bead expo running on the weekend. November is really busy for markets and craft expos.
