Doom

I was experiencing a post-holiday high. All gone now.


...Ok, my blog post was a little to angry so I deleted it. It involved a lot of swearing at statisticians who do not provide adequate manuals to their programs or who design their programs for linux only. I already got myself a mac so that I could run mac-only programs. I'm not going to learn linux.

Bottom-line - I have two months until my thesis is due. I was technically meant to give a final 1hr seminar a month ago. I can't analyse some of my data because statisticians hate me. One of my analyses has been running for the past two months and I have no idea when it will finish running (and technically I'm meant to run that analysis three times). People won't reply to their emails.

I am a ball of rage and misery and will likely remain a ball of rage and misery for the next two months. there will be a lot of playing DeBlob2, drinking copious amounts of tea, and eating a lot of home-baked treats.
At the end of all this pain, the graduate's office had better give me an orange or red balloon. Any other colour is unacceptable.
